OneLife
This year The Global Health Campaign launches to the world with the first annual OneLife concert. Each year we'll be bringing together some of the worlds most talented performers to celebrate the work we have been doing in Africa over the last year and raising money and awareness for the next. Whilst most of our work centres around music, here at The Global Health Campaign we have a deep appreciation for all art and it's ability to bring people together. With that in mind this years OneLife concert featured performances from Abbe Smith, who features heavily in our upcoming campaign, and renowned spoken word poet Sarah Kay.
The One Million Project
On July 19th, The Global Health Campaign launches the One Million Project in partnership with Blue Gull Records. The One Million Project is a ground breaking week of change for healthcare in rural Africa where we aim to raise one million pounds, every day, for seven days. There are two ways to support this amazing campaign. One option is to donate directly to The Global Health Campaign through this website. However there's a great second option that not only shows your support for our work but also supports a great new artist. We're teaming up with Blue Gull Records to celebrate the launch of their very first record. For the first seven days of sales of Abbe Smith's What is Real, Blue Gull Records will donate 100% of it's profits directly to The Global Health Campaign. This means you not only get to show your support for The Global Health Campaign, but you also get experience one of the most refreshing new artists we've heard in years.. More details will be available over the coming weeks as we prepare to launch this amazing project.
The 2040 Plan
At OneLife 2010 we launched our thirty year development goal called the 2040 Plan. This is a particular goal that we will keep at the core of everything we do over the next thirty years. Through our plans for sustained support and development we believe we can see an end to malnutrition on a community level. However we like to think on a larger scale than this. With this in mind, the 2040 Plan aims to bring organizations together to see an end to malnutrition, worldwide, in just thirty years. This is a big goal but through the work that we are starting in Africa as well as what other organizations are already doing across the planet, we believe we can see an end to malnutrition worldwide.
Please check back in future for more information on upcoming projects.
